Test Admin Training for the Information Age

Continuing our commitment to high-quality and professional service, TOWES has improved our standards in Test Administrator training and certification.  Based on feedback from our distributors, TOWES will soon launch a new online training and certification process for anyone who administers TOWES. 

Across Canada, several hundred individuals provide administrative services to businesses, government, and the education system.  TOWES stakes its reputation on providing superior quality and service excellence through a dedicated network of college partners.  Our new online training and certification program has been developed to better support this work.

The online program will ensure anyone who administers TOWES has timely access to accurate and comprehensive training.   The training will coach new administrators through the testing process and will allow experienced administrators to review procedures and refresh their knowledge.  The system will also facilitate efficient communication of updates to procedures and will lead to increased consistency across the country.

“TOWES training is designed to ensure that fair and equitable testing is delivered and that the high quality standards of TOWES are always maintained.” explains Alisa Foreman, TOWES Production Coordinator.  “The new program will improve the training process, leading to better service for our customers.  We all strive to create an environment where our test takers can fully demonstrate their skills.  No one likes to write a test.  Our role is to properly prepare individuals and to provide them with comfortable and relaxed conditions where they can do their best.” says Foreman.

The Test Administrator training program will take approximately one hour and 30 minutes to complete and is followed by a certification exam.  The pilot phase of this initiative is currently underway, with full implementation slated for May 2009.
